Can anyone report first hand as to how many horses are actually shipping out today? Since the options are so limited I am interested to see how many horseman actually ship there horses out of beautiful Stickney. All it would be nice if someone could provide any information as to farms and or other tracks that are accepting horses from Hawthorne.

I haven't been getting much info...made some calls...seems like everyone kinda feels "stuck".  If I hear ANYTHING at all, I'll let you know.

 i dunno what the logistics are..can't you all send your horse to a farm on your own for a month or so, then send them to any track you want from your own farm ?

Only if you can find a farm that will accept them that you trust!

Well, anyone who thinks as you do, that the call to end the quarantine this soon was "a very premature, irresponsible decision", wouldn't be leaving anyhow, because to take your own horses out of there truly not believing it is safe, and possibly infect other horses elsewhere, would be totally "irresponsible" ... right?

I saw on Facebook this morning that training resumes tomorrow.  Does anyone know if they made any repairs or revisions to the racing surface durning the down time?

They made NO repairs to the track.  Period.

I wouldn't personally chance spreading this virus off of the track, so our horses will remain. 
I cannot make decisions for others.  It's what separates the leaders from the followers.  And thanks for bringing that point up.
