Demonic / Santa Anita P6 with double c/o

Lots of buzz this morning about a big strapping colt in the Sadler barn named Demonic.

He's debuting in the 4th race today at Santa Anita, and the whispers are that he is a Ky. Derby prospect.

It just so happens that the 4th is the first leg of the Pick 6, on a double carryover day.

I smell a  .  Where have I seen this before?

My advice: if you are playing the Santa Anita P6 today and you are looking for a free Bingo square...race 4 ain't it. IMO, it's too late for a bonafide Ky. Derby contender to be making his debut; hell, this one isn't even listed in the Futures yet. 

He could win, at what will be a very short price...but a singleton? No.

I don't think there isn't no Pick 6 singles in any of them IMO. If I was playing a pick 6 I'd just go 2 deep in each race but I can't find no clear cut standouts. The horse you mentioned I put in for 3rd in my picks. This Pick 6 IMO could carryover. This how my picks looked like:

R5) 6-7-4
R6) 8-1-2
R7) 6-7-4
R8) 7-6-4
R9) 4-3-7

If I was playing the pick 6, I'd just go 2 horses in each race. My top 2 only.

Historically speaking, a horse that hasn't won by now has almost no shot.

Since Apollo in 1882 there has not been a Kentucky Derby winner that didn’t race at age 2.

  I haven't looked at the pick six but I did play a 8-6-7 pick three and daily double starting in race 4. my cover p3 would be 8 - 1,4,7,8 - 7. If the 8 doesn't win I'll play the 6-7 double in race 5.  If I'm not in to win the pick three I'll put win money on the 7 in race 6 and watch football.

I don't like giving out 3/5 horses.  I like when your horse can win like a 3/5 but go off at 7-1 or higher.  That being said I like the 7 Majestic Jewel in race 6.  Sadler is giving Juan Hernandez chances and he has to start making the most of them.  This horse is working out like a winner and Cindagos can handle the hillside turf.  Throw out that last race from one of the outside posts at a route.   That was a glorified workout.  This is a weak field and this is the time to take this horse.
