Not much for me out there tonight.

Who do you like???

Race 7 Pick four (3/4/10-2/4/7/8-3/6-1/2/9)

Race 9 - I like Long Story Short. This trotter knows how to win while staying flat. He has done well for Allard in five starts. There is lots of early foot here and I look for him to close late and win it all. 3W6/2/7

Race 11 - I'm coming back on Fox Valley Swift. Picked him at 50-1 last week and he lost it all bt a half length after being shuffled and closing quickly.
No huge price tonight but gets Tetrick and the rail (again) so I look for him to be in better position to use his brush. 1W5/7/9

Good luck to all!!!

On paper looks like a lot of short price chalk tonite especially in the early races,  but I like the 5 and 6 in the 8th.

Tonights Survival Picks

race 6    #3  Harbor Point  7/2
was bet down to 7-5 last week in this class. broke at the half.... Very rough gaited so I am hoping that with him entering right back, that it was something they felt they could fit with an equipment change.

Race 8   #2 Shaky Hanover  10-1
race she was in last week went back to back 55.3 halves. No shot of any type of cose off that mile from the 8 hole. She raced so/so at Yonkers, raced better at Pocono's making 135k last year.

Race 11  #8 Real Ravishing
drop in class, first up against a dominant winner in windfire Osborne in last race. Lightly raced only having 20 lifetime starts... Wife took athe #3 Runaway Tray 12-1, driver change and after sitting in the 2 hole, front runner stopped in her face finishing 10th beaten 17 lengths.

others I like

Race 3  #3 Shaws Creek Buff  5-1
At 7-5 last week was caught in a 12 horse field and got away 10th.... When he finally moved down the backside 4 were out in front of him and he never had a shot with dead outerflow all over the track.... Step up in class racing in Clyde Hirt Series, but I think this horse in smaller field will get a better trip

Race 8  #9 Go On BB  9/2
I actually not playing her tonight. She went a tough trip parked from the 7 hole last week and was still in the mix till the last 1/16th where she finally tired. Off that trip, I would find it hard that Gingras/Burke to brutalize her from the 9 hole this week. Look for her to duck and race the lane and perhaps next week take a shot.

Race 10  #3 Power Surge  20-1
Big field race, got trashed last week locked on the rail and fishing for any room zig zag down the lane. Big price to maybe hit the ticket.
             #5  NF Independence  25-1
Left from 9 hole and then Cat Manzi horse stopped in his face. ( driving Dave Panlone ) Macomber really stuggled to keep horse from running others over and when off the rail in the lane, horse showed some pace..... Driver change / Trainer change off the claim

CAL EXPO   race 9  #1 Windy City Paige
ugggh this is one of those that you get only a couple of shots a year. I watched this mare 2 back. The lack luster drive on her was Soooooo bad that I thought something might be up. Last week off the bad finish, she was able to drop down in class..... 17-1 in a driving rain and sloppy track she came up the rail and got shut off by the front ender. had to settle for 3rd and I had only $1 tri..... Uggghhh those kind really suck !

Good Luck Gang --- Played a couple of races --- got basketball tonight hoping for a win for the little guys.

I like Shaky Hanover in race 8 too as long as the price holds @ or above ML which it should.....way softer group than last week & Pelligrino stock will wake up soon
