Congrats to the connections.  I heard this evening that IamBonesera had been selected  with Trot Fudge Sundae and Al's Hammered tied for second.  There were five or six horses that had very good seasons. It could have gone to any of them and been well deserved.  Even though I own Sundae thought Al's Hammered had the inside track with that huge win SuperNight.  Seems that night plays a big role in Horse of the Year honor.  For a two year old year with a lighter race schedule you pretty much need to win out to grab that honor and we came up short in the Lady Land of Lincoln.  Roger and Amy do a very nice job with their stable.  As far as that goes Roc there are plenty of hard working trainers left in this crappy racing State.  So for all the top horsemen out there thanks for caring for our horses.   Boy I hate the late races that drive back sucks should be sleeping.

Roger Welch gets results as shown by all his awards threw the years . However as an owner you really can't make a profit in most cases with a trainer like RW . I repeat in MOST CASES as an owner however RW has managed to amke himself over a million dollars in the past years .

Your right Jeremy, not sure the five should have come down or stayed up.  However not my decision to make and Todd made his feelings loud and clear to the judges to be more consistent.  Guess sometimes the number 13 can be lucky.

Horse could smoke the FFA'ers from anywhere on the racetrack turning for home when he was right... Went a little south there at the end of the year but a very solid deserving race horse nonetheless..

Personally i believe it should have went to AL'S HAMMERED for his supernight performance but what do i know  dunno.  I do know that Mystical VIctress should have been a contender as well....  Any 4 of them could have won...
