I really liked his later stuff:
Kentucky Rain Suspicious Minds - probably his best and written by Mark James Moody Blue - his last hit and written by Mark James as well He'll Have to Go - cover of an old Jim Reeves song

Little Sister. Thanks 3wide good thread. Where's Tony?
I told him to get in here. He is a fan too. He is in San Fransicko for the weekend on business. I am guessing he will be visiting the bath houses though too. Lots of people believe that the 71-72 tours the Kings voice was at its peak. It really is flawless. If you watch that original in the ghetto video I posted. Remember thats a live performance. It is amazing. It is perfect. 68-72 Elvis is my favorite.

My Mother loved and still does love Elvis and I had to hear it all the time. My fav's are Love Me, not love me tender, but Love Me. Are You Lonesome Tonight, and My Way. Just a tid bit here, I actually ended up doing some Elvis impersonations while I was in High School and shortly thereafter. Alot of fun. But ridiculous in itself! lol.. Go ahead, let the jabs begin! lol

Anyone read the Goldman biog?
I never particularly liked Elvis, but I was amazed and even impressed to learn that he was a Monty Python fan.

As I've said before, that's a great line.
Everyone said the biog was a slam from start to finish; to me, it humanized the guy.

Peter Guralnick's two part bio is very good and shows all sides.
