And probably a few thousand more wins when he thought it was better to finish 4th and cash a ticket.
Good horseman, good driver and trainer. Integrity??

I remember Rick when he started at Pocono, Dover, and Monticello. He was Bino's man. He used to wear a huge cross around his neck like he was expecting vampires.

One of my favorite wins with Rick and HH Tremor. He beat some pretty decent horses that day.  trophy

Looks like he was one of if not, the favorite in the race. Always nice to have a picture like that where your horse wins easy though.

Not to many Vegas !
On integrity Vic d !
My idea of integrity starts with the care of horses and Rick Plano could give a clinic at any college that offers Equine care ,Professor Plano always puts his stable of horses care a first priority with each and every horse.
Each horse is hand walk bedded deep in straw with hay nets full.
His horses look impicable.

As far as all those wins as catch drive or trainer that is one hell of a accomplishment in any ones career!

As far as Vic's other comment when is the last time u think u saw Rick stiff one???
Because I don't think I've seen a suspicious race sense he left California?
Like I said b4 at his age and his career where it is today I would like to think u get to a point that that kind of bullchit isn't worth it cause in the long run u only cheat yourself and karma!

The most amazing trot drive I ever saw was Rick Plano and Prince and I will never forget it thank u Rick for that picture even if I didn't own him any more u took him to his fullest of horse he would ever be, and congratulations with all those wins!
