Author Topic: The Truth About Ira Smolin And His Winning Pk5 Ticket That Ira Is Silent About!  (Read 3878 times)

Ira is claiming he bets $400-500 per night at Balmoral. bowing

He says when he loses on a $400 Pk5 ticket (which apparently he bets this much all the time) nobody complains. dunno

I know I questioned Warren's spending spree on horses with only his name down as owner.

I have my reasons for that thread. I didn't come up with that just on my own. sneaky

But what about Ira's income? dunno

I know several have questioned how Ira can afford such a large Pk5 ticket. dunno

But what about losing $400-500 dollars per night gambling on horses? doh

We know Ira never wins because he tells us he never wins! doh   At least until now. trophy

So how does a man with no job gamble about $500 dollars a day on horse racing? dunno

Oh wait....that's right. He gets his info from *** in between races in a text. sneaky

Somebody somewhere must really trust Ira to keep spotting him all this money to gamble on? beard

And ***'s info must really be solid to keep this deep pockets benefactor from cutting off the perpetual loser Ira. bowing

I have a question. For arguments sake if the ticket is ruled invalid does the money go back into the pool?
I have never seen anything happen like this before and was curious. Thank You.

Just to throw a little gas on the conspiracy fire, it seemed Dom was paying an inordinate amount of attention to Wingard's 32-1 shot as he called the race.

Depends on the situation. It's up to the stewards AND track owners. And then the IRB.
I agree that a track or casino can do what they want, or call it a malfunction.
Friend of mine found a $5,000 chip in Vegas, and went to cash it. He was told that they had on camera him picking up a chip, and if nobody claimed they dropped the chip he would be entitled to the chip within 30 days. I thought this sounded like either a scam or that they would never pay. ......but 30 days later, he gets a call and says a check for $5,000 was waiting for him at the cashier. Why do I say all this? I think a track or casino can make up anything they want, they follow their own "rule book"

I don't recall him saying he lost that amount every night. I don't even recall him saying how much he bets on a normal night. I do recall him saying how much he put into this particular Pick 5 with the lucrative carryover.

Right. Everyone spends 47 years betting at the track and never wins.  Roll Eyes

This game and many others have always had its conspiracy "theorists".
Whether it be family driving in the same race, or a brother driving for someone other than his brothers horse, etc. I think there is a little truth to it all, but to slander a guy who has been betting horses for many years, even if his son is a driver, is just not the right thing to do bang head bang head bang head bang head

Hey J Mannix why was Bobby saying he hit the pick 5? Clearly Bobby could not have hit the pick5 because his two drives in the pick 5 both finished last and its against the law to bet against yourself. Maybe if Bobby wasn't telling everybody he hit the pick 5 right after the race In the paddock IRA would have his money.

So, Bobby allegedly saying this after the Pick 5 was over would be why "they" allegedly held the Pick 5 ticket immediately after the 2nd leg of it, as other founts of knowledge have reported?

By the way, what reliable & unbiased witnesses were on the scene when Bobby allegedly made this claim?

I am telling you they are using hand signals during races.

Laugh but they have said with straight faces on here that they are using non verbal communication (sign language) to fix races. During the race no less.

I am just waiting for them to tell me how they purchase tickets from fixing races after they start?

Its a joke. I just don't get the interest they have in a track where they believe every race is fixed or suspicious.

To me the huge vast conspiracy. That involves multiple drivers and horses and even announcers is a joke.
Because there is only 1 ticket.

It there was 70 tickets they would be really crying about how did so many hit it?

Pay Ira his money.

Probably was poor judgement to ever post about it on any forum until after you collect the money.
Get paid Ira then tell your side.

That's hysterical, hand signals during races! How do they manage that if there is a rule which requires hands in hand holds during races? laughing guy laughing guy

The Balmoral stewards intentionally overlook that infraction because they are on the payroll and in on the fixes.

I think the drivers could take care of a lot of these embarrassing problems simply by all learning to speak Salish or Mongolian or Swahili or some other language that no one else at the track can understand. Just a few words and phrases would do to set up races, I would think. It's not too far fetched to imagine.

Question for JDGIZZ

I saw in another thread on Wednesday night you posted IRA hit the pick 5. Minutes later this post was deleted. Why was your post deleted or I'm I going senile?

Not to mention if you go to the original post to start this thread.
It is started by Knowitall but is immediately modified by jdgizz.

Interesting?
Fact.

Conspiracy anyone?

So this goes deeper than I expected.
Both Swoody and in fact Barn to Wire ( and its moderators)  are involved.

This thing gets bigger by the minute.

Notice this under the original post to start this thread. Hmmm.

you were right Jokester.  I congratulated him but then i thought somebody might just be making it up so i deleted it.  Also Swoodalls post was edited for a personal attack against myself. Swoody appears to think I have something to do with Balmoral Park. I dont no interviews, questions, nada.  The only thing i do is make picks for DRF Harness for Balmoral.
