Won a @0claimer at the MEds when he first shipped in for Anderson with LaChance up then went right up the ladder. Joe's Juice certainly helped the Wilson Piece for sure.

I believe so. 22,500 with allowance. Tim Wilson made out nicely giving this horse to Joe. At one point I remember him having 5 or 6 consecutive sub 50 wins. (I also remember Roger Daniel having him as a 2yr old at Lex, and then Thunder Ridge.)

Fresh Yankee  $800.

That's who I was going to say.  I thought she went for $600 then looked it up.  We were both wrong.  She went for $900.

John Henry-$1100 yearling then sold for $25,000-$6,591,860 in earnings

Seattle Slew-think he was $17,000 purchase and valued at well over $100 million at one time.

In 1992, bought 40 % of a yearling for just over 2 grand. Partnered with my trainer, who threw in a free month's training. Turned out to be the second best filly pacer in the NYSS in 92 and 93, earning $ 167,000, then was sold for $ 34,000 (would have been more if had not been bowing a tendon). I do not think she ever raced again.
