Now with Christina Olivares Blacker gone, Christina joins the list now included (among others) Jessica York, Lisa Dergan, Priscilla Hojiwala, Claudia Simon, Meredith Gleaves, Michelle Arnold, Jeannine Edwards, Rhonda Collins, Caton Bredar, Jill Byrne, Jill Baffert and Michelle Yu.
So Christina Olivares Blacker was the only female TVG analyst/reporter/host there was. HRTV has like 8 or 9 female analysts their and Christina could at least can handicap well. TVG only has two woodbine tv hosts that are females which are Renne Kierans and Dawn Lupul are great too but just appear on during the woodbine meet which lasts like 8 or 9 months. Then comes Donna Barton Brothers who's NBC's horse racing reporter and just makes appearances during kentucky events.
So will they hire one of them daily or will they get someone new?

Bring back Pricila Lostmywallet- she knew nothing about racing...kind of like Greg Wolf
Wha happened to Christina O? fired or retired?
How about a female jockey- I suppose Julie Krone sounds too much like a smurf what is Inez Karlsson doing these days?

WHAT ? what kind of sexist crap is this why isn't the title of this thread .. "Who will TVG hire as their next TV Host" why does it have to be a hire based upon the gender of the candidate ?

Why do they have to hire a female? If they had all females and someone said hire a male, why would it have to be that way?? Just hire a person who knows racing, has a passion for it, comes across well on TV and can deleiver timely information to the fans. What does their gender have to do with it?

I haven't seen Priscilla in along time. IDK why she left TVG. She seemed to know a thing or two about racing. She tried her best to really learn alot about this sport.

HRTV has 5 women listed as hosts and now add Olivares to the list. TVG has only Donna Barton listed as a host. Does she even appear other than a big day in Kentucky? Does it matter? In the grand scheme of things not much

They should be worried about the programming. It is awful. Monday and Tuesday nothing going on until Turf Paradise Starts. Last night showing Delta Downs only. How are they going to draw people to the network if minimal racing is shown ? What happened to all the filler tracks they showed ? Parx, Penn, Charlestown, and on the harness side Northfield, Balmoral, Harrahas and others I probably missed.

Parx was the staple of their Monday and Tuesday afternoons. I'm sure it's a money dispute.

How about getting the other Christina? Christina Bossinakis from Gulfstream. She wouldn't be a bad replacement reporting from the paddock at Hollywood Park and Del Mar. Skip Monmouth and head to CA wouldn't be a bad idea.

Not only do I agree with you, most horseplayers feel the same way. I just want to see the races, I do not need the on air "personalities". Whats worse is showing 6-8 minutes of post parade and warm ups for Los Al. while 2 other tracks are running a race....then they show either a tape delay or just a stretch call. When NYRA has no live racing, they show 4 or so tracks, without an on air "personality" thats all I need. I cant stand the goofing around by many of those TVG on air personalities.

I tend to agree Exactor...I am not tuning in for Vaudeville & Shrupstik.....want information etc. There is a divide between management that people want PERSONALITIES when all we really want are HOSTS.. AT the end of the night sure, Mike Joyce is fine, but only after daily consumption of liquor & drugs

What a disaster Yu is. She was the absolute worst at TVG, got hired because her father was on the board then he couldn't save her job when her dumb mouth got her in trouble. Talks about everything except racing, twitter, who's hot, singing....basically a female Gino Buccolo. I've only ever heard White on the Steve Byk show and all he seems to do there is talk about scores HE'S made, not much about racing but maybe he's different on the SA show.

They should do surveys based upon the opinion of someone who goes to a Track with a minimum of $500. Or ask the top 50 TVG customers what THEY want....I guarantee you that its not these knuckleheads joking around all day/night. And as far as having hot women as hosts, I am there to gamble, after I bet, I will turn attention to women...

HOW ABOUT THAT LATE DAILY DOUBLE TRAIN WRECK OF S SHOW THEY DID (OR ARE DOING) hopefully they cancelled that POC show.....Talk about painful.... That is exactly catering to the $2.00 bettors...nothing wrong with trying to educate new blood & bring em to the track but to throw that disaster is not the way (in my humble opinion) Just thinking of that show makes me want to heave

Extremely arrogant. Constantly telling the viewers how she got e-mails from men watching the show who were dying to date her. Plus she said it up front that she DETESTED harness racing.
