Why, of course, it's Gennadi "Paraskevas"* Johnston. Hey, as goofy as Dorochenko and his miniscule win percentage are, at least there's some commonality between his (Slavic) names. Paraskevas Papadopoulos, fine. But Paraskevas MITCHELL? *Spanish for "El Duque"

That would make his father PapaParaskevasPapadopoulos, unless his last name was shortened from Mitchelltriplelindyopolus.

I put George/Yeorgios slightly ahead of the pack.
Still getting over the death of George from Thomas' on Old Country Road. Shocker there.

Well, give my regards to Paraskevas Manley. Ha! I've been calling my 6 year old Paraskevas all night and he is p1ssed. He has no idea what it means but he doesn't like it a bit.

What about the plucky barn bird Parakeet Manley. Keeps the horses up all night asking for crackers.

As long as there's no Paratyphoid Fever around, you're ahead of the game. Have a Camagin and Tonic. And don't be a Cyberphobe, keep the posts coming.

And Holy bullhive, that's no bull, Jess!
I haven't turned outlaw yet. BUT IT'S TEMPTING.
I like Manley... his horses seem to run to a fairly predictable pattern, and his average mutuel at Haw and (AP) over the last few months has been up near 20 bucks. They should all be like that.

He takes good care of the horses and I think as he gets more engrained in the Chicago circuit he will continue to have better results. I could be wrong but I don't think he really focused on Chicago this much until a couple years ago.

How far is Fairmount? I'm in NY, and for years, I swear, I thought it was in Missouri when it was a harness track.

I think that's an early scene in the first Natuional Lampoon "Vacation" movie... Chevy drives Beverly D'Angelo and his kids in there by mistake.
