Mike Eaton? Not sure of spelling Nut their was a guy named Dino that came out here and when I went back and looked at replays that another poster pointed out to me a different driver that drivers are not familiar with did make a difference in the way horses were racd Mike Jarvis is holding his own here. Another guy named Evan golberth is here also and another name Michele beau champ I think again spelling. I enjoy new blood here and seeing drivers that Calexpo regular drivers are not familiar with!

Evan Coblentz is by FAR the Worst NEW driver at Cal Expo. He drives like he is afraid to be on the sulky. Here are his results so far at Cal Expo:
Shark Lover 7th Distanced Lovely Report 7th Chisum 6th by 16 Meritage Hanover 4th Vyce 6th by 9 Juntique 8th by 11 Fakeutu Bluegrass 10th by 25 (as the 8/5* favorite) Shark Lover 8th by 17 Parkhill Fantasia 4th (it was a 4 horse field)
Evan Coblentz is an Auto-Toss when handicapping. If he ever wins a race, that horse should be claimed immeadiately. Why would this guy make the trek to Cal Expo??? Guess what driver is featured in an article on Cal Expo's Website this week, Evan Coblentz. I wish you the best!!!

So Mike Eaton goes from one track with a talentless crew to another. And yes, Coblentz is probably the worst of the worst, and if you are the worst at Cal Expo, that is saying something...

I'm not that familiar with the east and all the great quality of drivers you have. After all you are correct, the little pond of drivers is very limited at best! Last night I watched Mike Jatvis very closely. The man did not beat up one horse.the man doesn't lean back in the bike sets up and drives. Dang near every thing he drove was double digits as I recall. But I don't think he was off the board on anything he drove ! So maybe you could find us some more of these kind of drivers that can't get drives at raceway park, are there bottom purses larger or smaller than our meager purses? Now stone remember we are the only harness racing on television after9pm on a Friday night.

Yeah he seems to be doing well out there and it makes me wonder he never got more drives around here......he always seemed to do OK with the limited stock he drove here.......hopefully he continues to do well........and to answer your question the purses are worse at Raceway Park

Evan Coblentz Friday night results:
CHISUM 6th by 9 3/4
JUNTIQUE 9th by 25
LOVELEY REPORT 8th by 13
FAKEUTO BLUEGRASS 11th Distanced
The only way EVAN COBLENTZ's horses will improve is to have someone else drive...

I follow him at colonial downs. he actually has some nice horses. if he ever let a catch driver (decent one) get on one, it would be a good betting possibility

Being limited as we are and most of all our known regular drivers are committed to trainers with larger barns or many of there own horses. Mooney= Johnson Kenedy= Ryder Maier = Maier Wiseman = Wisemen \ Brown Luke= Luke / Brown / Pacheco Wojo = Graham/ Wilkeson Seigle = Solaris/ Escobido Scott = Fraser/Pacheco Lackey = Catch drives for many Sridharm = Stidham Evan= Evan Schindler=Schnider Hernandez= Amature Bertrand= Amature Boyce = Amature Isabel= Amature Luster = Amature See how the smaller stables are in need of drivers that can compete that are unknowns ? Stone would you happen to know how Jarvis is with trotters? I certainly was impressed with his drives on pacers last night. I'm just curious , would you put him up ?

I dont really know if he is better with trotters but my guess is no.......I seem to remember him usually winning with younger pacers.......and to answer your question if it was my horse I would not put him up......i do think he is a capable driver and wish him the best of luck

Those are his stats from Raceway Park this summer.........he had 66 starts...........the top drivers averaged around 280 starts...........Marc St Louis only drove on Sundays and had 153 starts

Very well said Danny Patch! Would you mine putting Eatons stats up like one of my fellow posters dud on Jarvis? I actually have noticed the more horses bigger fields and with 3 or 4 unheard of drivers in a race is definantly not same Ole horses and drivers beating each other. Glad your man Mike Eaton is here and the more the merrier!

I actually like Cal Expo. Of course, having video to watch would make it better Other than that, it is the slow time of year. Also, the only harness track on TVG (when video works) on Friday and Saturday nights, full card yet.
