The quarantine has us at a standstill.  Not even sure why we are training at this point.  Entered 2 for Turfway for Friday.  They still have an hour until they close and there were 32 and 19 already in my races.  Cannot justify Beulah because of the loss of life condition for the minimal purses.  So here we sit, on our thumbs.

Hopefully they'll just run a second race with the same condition so most of the horses get in. Or add it to the next day.

I'm sorry Dano.  People don't really realize tht this quarantine affects not only us here at Hawthorne, but those who depended on the racing here as ship ins as well.  I hope they split the races for you guys , or something gives...

We raced one early at hawthorne, and then waited to watch what would happen with the virus. To either stop for the winter, or adjust the game plan were our remaining options, and we chose to ship to Beulah. Was this our dream choice? Absolutely not. However, we had a fit and happy horse in the barn that needed to race. He has shipped twice and won both times. Sure we wish he could've won for more money, but you know what? He doesn't know how much he did(or didn't) bankroll, but you'd best believe he knows he won! We often times sacrifice too much time and money on these horses, but we've all just gotta do what we can to get by right now. Good luck!!

Youre gonna come here and complain about not getting in at turfway? no offense but its not like youre gonna be 1/9 in that spot considering you were 30-1 last time at fairmount. purses are better at turfway as opposed to beulah yes but theyre still awful. the horse has been running mcl 5k and mcl 32fricin hundred at FAIRMOUNT and still hasnt won and you think shes just gonna go to turfway and run away with it(shes also never run on poly) LOL? take her a$ s to beulah and let her run 1-2 or if you want to run for better money and probaly not win then drive 10 hrs+ to mountaineer where you shouldnt have a problem getting in. shes a 10 time maiden filly kid, not the next azeri or zenyatta. best of luck!(not being sarcastic)
