It is refreshing to finally have an intelligent conversation with someone. Whether he was responsible or not, after several years of Harry's "can't beat fun at the old ball park" being broadcast nationwide on WGN, Wrigley and the neighborhood became as much of a draw as the Cubs. As more people came, the sleepy neighborhood bars became trendy nightspots, and more and more bars and restaurants flooded the area.
