R u  horsemen aware of what's going on at Hawthorne?

R u horsemen being proactive as to the seriousness the implications this could and may have on our harness industry and horses every where?

Have you gotten your selves aware and prepared as to how to try to do your best to contain this nasty  disease that has the potential to complete wipe out racing and horses every where?Sorry guys ment to put this on the harness side !

A few years back there was a case of the ev1 virus at Balmoral.  Dr Fitz stayed on top of things.  Had the starting gate disinfected after every race  Lots of latex gloves and booties. and other precautions  dont believe it spread

Exactly and great info maybe hawthorn should do the same and tractors and automobiles in and out of back stretch and haulers!

Reading the forum home page on this virus is very informative here's some things I found interesting.
1900 horse are in quaritine at Hawthorne of that 1900
Ten per cent almost 190 horse have been tested for ehv1 .
Of the almost 190 tested 48 test positive for ehv1!
The way this is pencilling doesn't look good to me since this is a airborne disease.
