What a horse!

Jim and Marilyn all smiles in the winners circle.  Casey with a great drive.  Kudos to you all.

Saw Guru's baby sister a couple of weeks ago.  I think we may be hearing from her in the future.

So far in 2012 he is 4 for 4
2011  he was 5 for 5
2010  he was 5 starts,  three firsts ,a second and a fourth.
In his fourth he was beat a head in 51 4/5
His last defeat at Maywood was 11 starts ago on 8/27/10

Any one up to a little Well To Do Guru trivia?

In his lifetime he has had 5 different drivers.
Can you name them?

Only one driver not named Leonard has ever won with the horse.
Can you name him?

Two drivers have driven him without getting a check.
Can you name them?

The horse has raced at 6 different tracks.
Can you name them?

Has the horse ever won a race outside of IL?

The horse has raced for the last six years.
What is the highest number of starts in any one year ?

I will only give out the right answer, if someone first guesses or knows.

I'll take a stab at it without looking at Pathway.

Besides Casey driving, I'd guess Ross, Sam Widger, Dave Magee and Dale Hiteman.

I'll guess Sammy won with him.

That leaves Dave and Dale not getting checks.  Not confident in this answer.

May, Bal, Spr, Haw, Duq and Hoosier

Never won in Indiana

Most starts I guess 23

Good questions, looking in thumbs up

Thanks for playing along.
I bet like me you did the TV Guide crossword puzzles as a young man.

Drivers---- Casey and Ross are correct, but not Dave, Sam ,or Dale.
I am guessing that most handicappers were surprised  as to who was selected to drive and win with the horse in April of 2011. Although he has been around a long time, he is not known as a top named catch driver.

Tracks-------May, Bal,Haw, and HoP are correct. The other two are both out of IL.

Most starts in a year was in 2010 with 2?
