NO. It didn't have anything to do with any of the races. I was more of a guy got annoyed with someone banging on a table on Monday or Tuesday and they had words then yesterday they bumped and then it esculated and a bunch of guys jumped in. Thats what I was told so I was trying to confirm. The guy told me the fight was with someone that works for Tony Rigina.

Club, you are absolutely correct about the horrible conditions at Monticello....and thats coming from me, who loves going to tracks to see live racing. Rarely do I go to a track I dont like since I love racing that much.
The place is a complete disgrace. I was dressed in a suit/tie last time I was there and I got up to make a bet. A 3inch nail was sticking out of side of table and ripped my suit. Lucky it didnt castrate me from the position where it ripped my suit.
I got a Tetanus shot a day later, however, I think you need vaccinations after you leave that place anyway, even if all goes normal.

Last year I went in February and drank a diet coke and left it in the old owners boxes...I went back 6 months later and the 1/2 full can was there....that says 2 things: nobody cleans the place and #2 chances are that nobody sat in that seat for 6 months.

I say you are correct on both. The only time anyone sits there is July 4th for the fireworks show. Even the slot area is lousey and the food court stinks too. Its a shame.  They used to have good food there and an outstanding ice cream stand too.

Club, wasnt there news a while back that they were knocking track down and moving or building a new casino in the Villa Roma area? or am I mistaken??

It was supposed to be the old Concord site. They even started to knock down the old hotel but like everything else in that area too many groups opposed and different Indian tribes fighting over whos land it is and who has the rights for a casino and guys like Donald Trump lobbying against it.
