Obama keeps saying we honor all our vets, but I see way too many homeless, limbs missing vets every day.   I give them what I can.  It makes me sick.  They need more help from the people who sent them to hell.

My first husband, my boy's father was a very decorated veteran, yet got filled with bad drugs from the VA administration and died.  No matter how many times we all contacted them.  I hate the VA.

Thank You to All served to keep us safe.  I admire each and every one of you.

Thank you to all those who serve(d)! Still the greatest country regardless of what we hear from both sides.

Veterans day is a special day and wish we did more for them. My company did not observe veterans day as one of the paid holidays for the union or company people. I submitted a proposal to the union and management that all veterans should receive a day of pay or holiday for that day. Neither side would pursue it because they were afraid everyone would want paid and worried about grievances. Unbelievable!

That is so sad!   I wish I could do more for the vets I see.  Most are on the highway in places you can't stop but only once in a while where you hit the red light just right.

There are TOO MANY HOMELESS MAIMED VETS out there with no one to care for them.

Veterans should get help right when they get home so they don't get hit by it all of a sudden down the road.  And some compensation to be given to veterans who have lost limbs.  Enough to they don't have to be homeless.

Some may be homeless by choice.  Their war experience has messed them up mentally so much that they cannot tolerate a normal existence.

I know.  That is why I said I think they should get mental health care right away when they return to the US.  Get evaluated and lots of help.
