I think the qualifying requirement for a trotter at the Meadows is 2:01
so it looks like the horse qualifies to race at The Meadows.

Yes this is tragic. Marvin Raber is an animal abuser. He stole this horse and used strong arm tactics even threatening to send the horse to the killers if the owner didn't cooperate with his requests. When the owner would not cave to his crap, he falsified a lien sale and transferred ownership of the horse to himself. Raber is a despicable human being. He will rot in hell for the things he has done and continues to do. |

if you like facts fuzzy do a little of your own research and look up marks' history at the ny website it was posted here before.
over the yrs you will see multiple violations including whipping horses after the wire and the race is over.is this abuse or not in your opinion ?
nowhere was there any mention of any of a fight with whittemore
juice posted multiple times on this forum that marks was barred and could return when he completed anger mgmt treatments yet is still ruled off.
the state of ny finally had enuff of him and banned him
instead of fullfilling the so called anger mgmt marks ran off to canada where he was ruled off also
you want to support juice and marks go for it but please do not take the high road in any other cases where abuse of the whip is being called into question

i think raber is too smart to use the same atty of someone who is currently barred across north america
it is entirely possible someoe else has a piece of the horse in question

What's amazing one poster here paid 35 gs for this horse as a baby and then seem to split off from four star stable! The horse went threw the harrisburg sale at that time and that same owner trainer seems to have had him even then and then off to Delaware sale first time sold for 2 gs and then a few months later sold at blood horse for 3 gs bought by Diana walker a gal who ships back and forth to Cali and right after that sale Wendi and mat own the horse! But I can promise you all this many owners here at Calexpo will no longer have a damn thing to do with any one dealing with the Amish from this instance! |

Very nice lady. Ignorant statement. Notice I have not said too many bad things about Raber. Bottom line he is convicted of animal abuse. IMO that should make him ineligible to be licensed by the USTA. But apparently as far as the powers that be go this is a settled case. Its his horse to with as he pleases. Rehashing it over and over again isn't going to change anything. I do crosss my fingers and hope the horse finds his way to a nice forever home at the end of this saga. |

One horse who we are aware of. Who has a loving home if needed. Instead we have a guy trying to do what? He qualified the horse in June. Its now Oct 24th and the horse has made $904 dollars. I am not JJ or the other clowns trying to make points here or inventing things. I have no agenda for making myself look good. The horse will once again not get a check. No chance. So he will be at 904$ going into November. With the normal gaps in racing 1000$ is out for 2012. Whats the agenda? throwing out the clowns whose agenda is trying to " expose cheats since 1998" and make themselves look good. This is not a race horse or a money maker in any way. |
