If I was racing at VD, I would have a problem with the year end classification system. I know the horse population gets slim this time of year but, using a system that makes you less likely to enter is counter productive to it's intended mission.
 Giving the Secretary the power to determin who will race with who, and rewarding the perceived better class with a couple hundred dollar purse jump would not cut it for me.
 But, if you have little or no choice in racing elsewhere, I guess this is what you do for the next few starts.
