Does Balmoral Park still have the equipment from when they raced thoroughbreds many many years ago . Maybe IRA could have do an extended stay in the hot tubs for about a 2 weeks . I don't think Roger Welch has ever let Ira Smolin drive a horse that he has owned . I do recall RW giving Bob Smolin a few decent horses to sit behind early in Smolins career . Fact is i don't think Ira Smolin will ever drive a horse again . The game has changed and drivers like Steve Searle & Gerry Longo are not able to compete on a steady basis .
