Winning 338 mil is no excitement compared to the excitement that the noise of the thundering hoofs create when they hit the stretch coming home.

Hell for 338 mil I would create a horse rescue like u have never seen.

It would make Japan's training center look like a Ferdale!

Called a buddy back in NJ and he said that the tix was sold in either Paterson or Rutherford.

Also reminded me that the pizza and bagels out there are far better than what Chicago has to offer.  He caved in on the hot dog argument since portillo's is best dog & beef.

I'll grant the bagels are better but the pizza out here sucks....BAD. We midwestern types like some toppings on pizza, and not not talking deep dish. You could never tell a chicago guy that NY style is good at all.  head shake

Origanally from the east and that's why I do have a preference.  They say it is from the water.

Apparently SC water decreases sperm count and overall intelligence.

The winning ticket was sold in Bordentown, NJ at a truck stop.
Nobody in this area considers Chicago pizza real pizza.
That's because cornmeal doesn't belong anywhere near a pizza...

Cornmeal? Maybe you're getting pizza and quiche mixed up? We Chicago/midwesterners just like a 12" pizza to have more than half a ladel of sauce and 6 oz. of cheese on it. "Folding" doesnt make the pizza, the taste does.

Wait a minute!  Hold the phone!  Stop the presses!

The latest flash on CNN says the ticket was not sold in Bordentown, but from a liquor store in Passaic.

If I wait long enough, the last newsflash may put the winning ticket in my pocket.  beer
