Whatever the state (and others) get, is part of the takeout (15%), not additional percentages.

That's why the racetracks don't get 100% of the takeouts because of ADWs/OTBs/Taxes etc.

All the facts have been posted on here, whether you believe it or not. Chester did MISCALCULATE the payoff.

Totally seperate...Tracks distribute the part of "their" take-outs to the OTB's...the others are extras not controlled by the tracks....but hey I give think what you want. beer BTW the STATE takes an EXTRA 2.5% out of the P4...still does not look like guarentee was added though?

Cecil you're right.   Stone don't know...

Yes I have been wrong before but not this time.....if a pool is not met they can either bump it or do a 0 takeout.....I  recieved this message from USTA strategic wagering

USTA Strategic Wagering

We have contacted Harrah's Philly regarding this. It appears that you may be correct that the additional money was not put in the pool. The guaranteed net pool is $4250. If you had the single winner, that is what you should have received, and will ultimately receive. We will get back to you. Please send us direct contact information.

A round of beer for everyone!!!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

All handle figures that we report are supplied to us by the tracks.  I've contacted Barry Brown at Harrah's, who is investigating the discrepancy.   I've also notified USTA director Chris Schick, who administers the Strategic Wagering program from our end.   I am confident that this matter will be clarified or resolved in short order.

Again, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention.  We can't address those things we don't know about.

Hey JD congrats. Looks like some extra money is coming your way. Also thanks to Hoberz and Stone for their efforts in this matter.

I also hope your friend who bet the same ticket offshore gets it too.

Wow nice job everyone and congrats jdizigg.

Hard to believe a casino would just "forget" to add a guarantee to a payout. Someone should make sure this little oversight gets in the trade news.

Its a great feeling to be the only person to take down a pool...It was a combination of skill and luck.   trophy trophy

Yes, no better feeling to take down the whole pool. Also, there is no worse feeling than missing the whole pool. I have only taken down two (maybe three) pools in 35 years of horse play, both supers, and I don't really play supers. One 4K plus, and the other 6K plus.

One of my worst beats was when I had Ray Schnitker on a $40 horse to lead off a Pick 3 at the Big M about 10 years ago on a Thursday night in the rain. Hit the second leg, and was 6 deep in the last leg and missed on a Jay Randall trotter who was a lower price than three of my horses. Nobody hit is and there was 9K in there.

The holy grail of handicapping is swooping the pool. Kinda like bowling 300 or pitching a perfect game. Congrats.

Nice job on your hit and an even better job getting the extra $1029.
If you didn't have the only winning ticket you would never know the pool was short.
I wonder how many times in the past they forgot to add to pool when guarentee wasn't reached.
