I contacted a buddy who works there----1 $1 winner. Pool was topped up to 5k from $3700. So great if two people managed to cash on different tickets. doh

Its a great feeling to be the only person to take down a pool...It was a combination of skill and luck.   trophy trophy

it was a nice hit but whats up with these tracks not meeting the guarantee?Huh? this needs to be addressed as it has happened at other tracks as well......the USTA advertise these guarantees a lot and should be held accoutable for not bumping up the pools

Stone Why is it that you refuse to believe the man. The man clearly stated that he and his friend collected  $3220 each.

HPI reported a payout of $6441.40 for a $2 ticket and so did EBett for $2.

Check it out yourself.

You clearly didn't read that Jdizigg had corrected himself.

When you post payoffs for $2, it means nothing -- it never represents the size of the pool.

UMMMMMM it wasnt that I didnt believe him it was about Chester not bumping the pool up which they did not and they still had 15% takeout which shouldnt have happened if they didnt bump the pool......that is all its about and if you read clearly he said he did have the only winning $1 ticket

The 15% is the "TRACKS"   take-out......you still have State  & a  few others who get a small % of each pool. Don't have the "pie" chart with me & do not really feel like looking for it but I'd say the total take-out is around 17 % ? Like all the conspiracy theories though.

if it is a total of 17% that is only a difference of 20 dollars so our so called conspiracy theory would still be true......all the facts are here in this thread and it has been proven that they did not meet the guarantee or bump the pool to 5k or the payout would have been more.....when they dont make the guarantee it is supposed to be 0 takeout on the pool if it isnt bumped from my undestanding

Whatever the state (and others) get, is part of the takeout (15%), not additional percentages.

That's why the racetracks don't get 100% of the takeouts because of ADWs/OTBs/Taxes etc.

All the facts have been posted on here, whether you believe it or not. Chester did MISCALCULATE the payoff.
