He can thank crook county.  Believe he won 2 or 3 counties in the state.  Illinois is a running joke with keeping these crooks in office and you can start with Mike Madigan who picks his running mate in his district.  That poor sap never stands a chance but he already knows that.  Quinn I am guessing is a lame duck and never gets a second term but he may not care going into the sunset with three pensions.  Yet Illinois is still 85-90 billion in debt and still behind on 9 billion in unpaid bills.  He has tried to a few good things with medicare form still working on pension reform but congress can't get there act together.  Casino bill on life support with two chances a override in a few weeks and maybe another shot in Jan otherwise back to the drawing board in March.

So, Illinois Sucks, will your Republican Reps. and Senators be there for the horse industry and vote to override the Governor?

It would be his opponent and not his running mate.  Il. does not have a Congress, or should say, it is not called a Congress. It is called the legislature consisting of the House and Senate.
Other than that, I agree with your points.

Thanks for the correction NewJack.  Forgot to mention raising taxes once he got into office to help pay down bills.  Everything that has been done in his term in office has been on the backs of Illinois residents and businesses.  He also vows that the tax increase is in play for just four years.  If you believe that Kelly Tuc has a bridge to sell you somewhere.  KellyTuc even though I am a horse owner I can pullout of Illinois and buy and race anywhere.  Already did that for a couple years.  My thing with this state is the future and country is the future for my kids of eight and six.  That is my worry not the horse racing industry!  Look everywhere else Canada has issues, Indiana many have problems next year, Jersey still screwed, and who knows what type of money the PA. legislators come for this year.

Not really pissed but look how this state has been run it is disappointing.  Hey is it easy to balance a budget, have a state be fiscal responsible, make the right cuts, etc., etc., hell no must be one of the toughest jobs.  However we place what we like are the right people to do the job and instead we live in the worst fiscal state in the United States.  Sure not all of Quinn's fault but the Dem's have controlled this state for the past 8 years.  Was it rosy under Ryan and Edgar not sure they didn't have to deal with a recession.  The recession uncovered a lot of faults in this nation.  Is Obama good for the U.S. with another four year term or is Romney the answer.  I think both have issues and wouldn't endorse either one.  Yes one tough job would not disagree and I know I have no answers or quick fixes.
