Im assuming no news is good news.....but the fall he took in yesterday's 8th at Hawthorne was downright scary.....It looked as if the horse fell right on him and then he got kicked around by a few others.......If he came out of that in good shape his guardian angel was working overtime

I watched the replay and after the race was finished the camera went back to show the rider walking down the track , in the Boyce silks.

Thanks for the info.... the DRF chart mentions the horse walking away but mentions nothing about the rider, that would have cost them another 30 or 40 characters of ink

Nobody reads the front page?

Both rider and runner came out of the mishap OK. Felix joked afterwards that “It felt like every other horse in the race jumped over me.”

was happy to see he was ok(horse too!) shortly after but was very surprised, that coulda been alot worse than it was! he fell towards the middle of the track as opposed to the rail where his horse was and was near the front in a full field. believe julio just came back from a minor injury at the end of arlington as well
