Owning horses.
Camagin wins a third for him. This time at Hawthorne, picking up the winners portion of a $23,120 purse...
Nice work and Congrats to all involved.

Thanks to both of you. That filly has been more than I could have ever expected. Wasn't sure what to think of Felix being on her but he couldn't have ridden her any better. Absolutely perfect trip. Watching from a sports book in Vegas was weird. Wish I could have been there in person. But man, she has been unreal so far!

Hats off to your trainer as well for picking a winner, when you originally claimed her, I didnt think it was going to be very financially rewarding.

I don't think any of us expected this. But Steve did a great job in turning down several suggestions I had before we landed on this one. It would have been very easy to take one of the others so he could fill a stall. Bit he did what was best instead of what was convenient. He thought the IL bred would be good for the added purses...but we would have never suspected 3 out of 4 wins...with the non win beig a stakes race. Steve has done an excellent job with her.

I'll admit that I thought you were nuts running her in that spot, but she ran unreal today.
It is nothing short of amazing what you have done with that filly. Good job and congrats!

You're not the only one. This open claimed is tougher than the NW1 allowance race. I originally told Steve no about today but he convinced me to run her. He proved me wrong. I appreciate your sentiments. All I do is pet her. Steve has done a phenomenal job with that filly. And she absolutely runs her heart out every time on the track. She loves it!

Very tough field. I was surprised at how she put them away. A lot of quality horses in that spot. Felix gave her a perfect ride.

Steve called a few hours after and said she was doing great. Haven't heard any different today so I'm assuming no news is good news! Thank you very much!

congrats again brivolta! you looked very live in that spot yesterday going into the race! there was no shame at all in getting beat by the 3 you did in that stake last out and you didnt get beat by much that day, any of those 3 woulda did the same thing to that field that your filly did yesterday. best of luck going forward!

Thank you very much. It's funny...I stumbled upon this forum when I was looking to get into the sport as an owner. I had always been a big fan of the sport but knew that I had a lot to learn about all facets of the sport. So I thought I would join this forum to help educate myself. It's really cool that so many people that I have never met have been so kind and supportive. So many of you know a hell of a lot more about the game than I do and all of the congratulations, and more importantly the analysis, is very much appreciated from all of you.
