I  was at Louisville Downs in the early 80s for a KySS , when Bill and Mr Haughton flew in for the Ky Pacing Derby . Billy picked up a bunch of late catch drivers and won 6 or 7 races for the night . He put on a show .

I would love to see Gentleman Jim Dennis drive at SPK in the summer on Try Scotch, one of the fastest horses off the gate in the 70's.

Well Zeller might have driven him at another track, but at Sportsmans Park allways Dennis. Actually he also drove Mr. Dalrae at SPK along with Hiteman a couple times. Had Mr. Dalrae 1 night at SPK, paid 8 bucks cause they shipped in Guts with Bea Farber, smoked Guts. I never seen anyone drive Try Scotch accept Dennis.
