The bottom line is who is going to post picks and plays on the USTA site.....Give the guy a break.....The handles blow everywhere......If you do go on there and start giving out winners and get some followers who bet halfway decent money you are slaughtering yourself and your payouts......Nobody with a clue or any chance to win would ever post their real picks for people to pilfer into these miniscule pools

Maybe he is intentionally giving awful plays to boost his profits on his plays. I wouldn't put it past him. |

Jay Bergman asked his guys in the past NOT to pick a horse he was going to bet on so it wouldn't hurt his price. He didn't do this every night, just once in awhile.

I think this "Giss is giving out bad picks so he can inflate price of other horses so he can bet those and stiff column readers" notion needs to be put to rest immediately. It pisses me off, sorry, n obv I don't expect ppl to stop posting bc i don't like a viewpoint.. If Giss was purposely giving out false flags to get better price on non-touted horses for his personal betting purposes he would have to build credibility first by actually putting up good #s. clearly, this hasn't happened. Since he also provides analysis , he would also have to at some point demonstrate clever handicapping or a unique approach. This also has yet to be seen. If there is any secret agenda it can only be one thing: he is purposely putting up awful picks that no one in their right mind would play and genuinely believes his strategy is sound so ppl can start tossing his picks at which point a horse that would normally be 2.60$ balloons up to 2.70$. I don't think anything nefarious is going on, it just doesn't make sense. Plus he's a "nice guy"

But it can, and does, really happen.
There is a current BTW gentleman who posts Rosecroft selections. His incredibly poor performance can only be explained by assuming he's intentionally picking bad horses in a misguided attempt to inflate the price of some other horses.

I just read his farewell BS. He didn't send in his 90 cents. He could have went out blazing with a winning 10 cent pick 6 or high 5 at Maywood. What a wuss.
