Bettors love big fields.  They'd bet on races run on jello if they had 10 horse fields.

Did anyone hear why Nates Mineshaft scratched ? He worked a couple times at A/P then a couple more at Hawthorne.

Disagreement between owner and trainer on whether or not the horse was fit enough to run 1 1/4.

Hawthorne is a good change from Arlington.  Arlington has a great facility but race track far from perfect.  Including poly garbage, 1 mile sprints, & 1 1/16th races with a fake finish line.  Welcome back Hawthorne!
