Race 2

#7 is a lock, last week against a slightly higher class he showed a ton of pace on the end.   Pick's up hot hands of Jonathan Roberts and should be good.

#4 is trained by Vernon's leading gas man and showed a little pep in his step last week after being out for most of the mile and losing a huge amount of ground on the turn.

#2 is an old warhorse and classmaster in Pick a Trail.   Huckabone just won the opener and when he starts off well he usually reels off a few wins.

#5 picks up the only vernon regular driver who is worth a damn.   From stone hands fern to davis to a huge improvement.

my play 7/245

Race 8

#7 picks up Jimmy Whittemore, last week was beat by cruising west in the lane but was used hard off the switch to make the lead and fought gamely to be beat less then a length.

#5 is a 2YO filly making just her 6th career start, 3rd for new connections and over this track.  Had a good last quarter and should be on the improve.

#1 and 3 will likely complete the cashers.

#2 perfect trip and went backwards.

Might need new trainer or some food or his feet done or less abuse.
