not a nice guy or family. had huge advantage racing on sublimaze back in the day  before they had a test.

also raced a phony illinois bred colt "goose filter" they claimed was by illinois sire filter. fact is, the colt's dam had been bred to strike out (both strike out and goose filter were chestnuts with white legs) but had been declared baron before going to filter.

they stole plenty from illinois horsemen in the sire stakes. i thought he got a lifetime ban...surprised he's back.

besides all of this.....he and his brothers just are not nice guys

Biggest whiner and crybaby I have ever seen. When someone claimed a horse off of him he would go nutzo. Throwing his helmet around, he used to scream "you can't claim off of me". He would scream at the groom who picked up the claimed horse.Called the grooms some nasty names.  A lot of grooms didn't want to even deal with it. But some did and enjoyed watching him throw his tantrums.

Yes, they raced Misty Raquel. From what I was told, she was some kind of mean. Archie Trinkle-Now that's a name from the past. He was a very nice guy. No idea what happened to him though.
