also..this is why they have auctions......so the highest bidder wins

You have to remember, at a sale, the buyer pays more than anyone else would...

Better question I saw what I felt were many videos that were trying to help a horses so I wouldn't call them bad but deceptive.

Fuzzy, you have to remember these videos are meant to show the yearling in the best light possible , they are highly edited you must be taken with a grain of salt . Another thing another thing to remember is most will move totally diffirent when they are hooked to the cart . The videos are just one small tool to use when selecting yearlings . BTW the best yearling I ever bought had the worst video  you ever saw ,,,,,

i used to go to all the sales. id spend time looking at the yearlings and listening to all the opinions of of all the experts. you know, all the breeders, all the horseman, all the pedigree guys. "this one wont make it"or "this one is a cinch", all the yeas and nays.

its all bullshit. the fact is a good one can come from anywhere and overcomes all the obsticles and negatives to be successful and the "best in show" guarantees nothing.

you pay the money and you take your chances and hope for the best. its shooting craps at best

how many full brothers and full sisters of champs do well? lightning doesn't often strike twice in the same place.

the science is in the math. you buy one, sell more than 100% to investors (ala, jerry silverman) get your piece for 0 and hope you hit it out of the park.

im not excluding guys like dancer and haughton, they played the same game.....i just never cared for silverman ........i guess i didn't like stanley that much either.
