Ah Yes! Double headers
I remember them well!
Afternoon double headers the best.
The joys of youth!
Home from the track,after the morning training.
A quick fast first heat.
A cool down dip in the pool followed by a little lunch.
A second slow endurance heat followed by a little nap.
Then up for a light supper and back to the track for a night of racing.
Dam this old age.
What we use to do all afternoon now takes us all afternoon to do.
