You JJ and the rest of his crew are probably responsible partly for it for constantly bringing this fine game in disrepute. Never a positive comment. Always negative thoughts and degrading harness racing to the extreme. Please don't be surprised of the empty grandstands. |

I honestly think he gets less than 30c back per 1$ bet.. sea biscuit, at what point can we laugh at an "Expert" handicappers ROI? Is there a number you can laugh at? How can you not see the humor in a self proclaimed expert failing at a mind boggling clip? It wouldn't be hard to chalk up #s bc the guy loses almost every single bet and can't cash for more than 4.00$ when he does win, put your personal feelings for the guy aside, he is putting up the worst #s any "expert" who provides picks for any publication, you really have to see it for yourself

Very good! Isn't that the real problem ? This is a professional giving picks to the public to draw fans to harness racing to make money? I have not one thing against Giss ,but as every one says it's a business ! Now if people would pay for his picks every one would be making clown videos on u tube! I'm not a real time gambler like most harness players are! But I've seen some excellent handicappers most are at meets that play that track exclusive! So we all think he's a nice guy I'm sure he is not one has said he isn't but he obviously can't hit a bull in the azz with a base fiddle! But no one will say he is embarrassing cause he handicaps in a colum for the U S T A? What's wrong with constructive critism and telling the truth? The philosophy it gives harnes a bad rap or reflects bad on the industry is horse picky the public sees it and their has to be drastic changes b4 it gets even worse! Those sensitive to constructive critism need to evaluate their sensativity! |

PaceMaker: I gotta admit that his handicapping sucks. He is a typical chalkie that bets horses going off at 5 and 10 cents on top or in an exacta that is paying 6 or 7 dollars. USTA has a long history of picking absurd handicappers to pick horses for their columns in the past. Next Bonus, Rusty Nash, Bob Pandolpho ( Pandy) are just some of the other handicappers who have gone through this exercise and all ended up broke. Having said that I still don't think he should be called a bozo and other names and trashed on this forum the way he was. JMHO. If you should differ with my opinion, then please go ahead and trash him all you want. There is nothing I can do to prevent you from doing that. Have yourself a good night. |
