I find HRTVs analysis and production to be far inferior to TVG. Maybe I'm alone in that, but to me there is no comparison.

I do not like the on air tvg circus.  recently they've toned down their act and I focused on the cheapness at hrtv.

If you are serious horseplayers you get RTN from Dish Network for 50$ a month.

Those idiotic channels that come with your standard package are just that IDIOTIC.

The game is hard enough to make money at with all the best tools but having inadequate tools or hoping someone else gives you what you need is a surefire way to death of your wagering dollars.

hrtv has better shows concerning the "industry."
tvg has a better betting platform and race coverage

TVG is just best for it's coverage. While HRTV is better for their on-air talent

Christina Olivares was interviewing Mario Gutierrez on Sunday about his return to Del Mar and she was babbling about how when Drug O'Neill calls he comes a running....He looked at her like she was nuts....She asked if he knew anything about the two horses he was riding or would he just wait for Mora/Dennis O'Neill to tell him about them in the paddock....Again he looked at her like he was nuts (partly because he barely understands English and partly because he had no idea what she was talking about) turns out one horse was trained by Simon Callaghan and the other by Ben Cecil.....Way to do your homework Christina/TVG

Was a surprise that Christina did that. Maybe she did it because Mario rides alot for O'Neill. Also, Mario's others didn't seem to have much of a shot. So that's why she probably forgot the other connections.
