Well, the veto came through as expected so . . .

Does the horse industry try to override the veto in November veto session?

Does it try to come up with a new law incorporating Quinn's changes in November?

Try again when a new governor is elected?

Go for a subsidy from the casinos again instead of having its own slots?

Your idea?

Reading the press releases from the various horse organizations it seems like the veto was just a bump in the road to the slots goal.

Well my guess will be that we will get the same rhetoric as before "Wait til November" "Wait til spring session" etc  etc. The Dipshit has let it be known since spring session that those were the three sticking points on this bill. Yet we are to react as if he has just NOW given us some divine revelation head shake Hes STILL gonna play both sides and collect campaign donations(cough inserted here)from both sides.

By the way in barn 36 at the Keeneland sale there are about 25 illinois foaled yearlings for sale that should go dirt cheap!
