40% chance of rain Tuesday night, and 50% chance Wednesday.  We'll see what happens then.

Thank you Matt for the weather update, certainly a huge factor in how this pick 6 plays out.

There's a bunch of horses that are under 2-1 ML, so, i would imagine they all have to get beat for it to carry again, pool will be at least a million considering that bettors have a full day to prepare.

Enjoy the weekend there! beer

I used to know someone who would send a letter to Stan Bergstein and Spencer Ross on that WOR 9 TV show to "Ask Stan"

Dear Stan, How do you pick a winner?

He never answered that question on the air.  Cheesy

Johnny V. and T.Pletcher in the 1st leg is the biggest single on the pick 6 Race 5 Corail but it's not gonna be the pick of the day for me at saratoga though.

actually think it's a fair sequence to throw a reasonable ticket at and hope for the best... I'm not a whale by any means so it's just a recreational ticket thrown at the pool.

I have a $200 ticket right now hoping that it is reduced by scratches (except my two singles!) and might actually wait to hear Maggie W's paddock analysis starting in the 5th baby race as I do value her opinion and think that's a tough race to start (yeah, you can single Pletcher but only after making sure Maggie says the horse doesn't look like a slob!...and IMO the sibs aren't much to get too excited about with Corail. )

I think Risky Rachel might be the biggest single....can you really trust a firster with a huge ticket? The 4 and 7 have both shown some talent and could leap forward in 2nd start. The 3 is a sister to a couple of slugs who ran in California, i'd be very leery singling Pletcher on  this horse.

If you're putting in a small ticket, you have to probably have 2 singles....i just hate singling the 2 horses everyone else is singling, i like to try and beat at least one of the most popular singles.

Same. I'll be placing a very "unconfident" $128 p6 bet. I'll be regretting this sooner than later Smiley

Uhhhhhhh, Pletcher has won with 4 of his last 5 firsters, and they paid:  $15.60, $5.40, $22.80, and $14.80

Pretty good chance that they didn't all bear a striking resemblance to Man O'War in the paddock.

Listen, to each his own, Pletcher is no god no matter what recent stats say, I didn't say I'm not including him, but I DID say I'm not singling him.

Small ticket - $96.00 after scratches. Not all that confident in the single in the last but it's the only way to reduce cost and I DO like that horse.

1,3,4,6 /w/ 1,9 /w/ 3 /w/ 7,8 /w/ 1,3,5 /w/ 7

Welp, so much for hoping it would carryover to tomorrow. Someone made a nice $470k payday.

I had 4 out of 6, the 2 races i missed were legs 4 and 5.

Great pick 6 to play into, big pool, wide open races, congrats to the skillful ones who nailed this, very nice payday.

 Huh

Didn't the 8 horse win leg 6? That's the one that knocked me out of a chance at 5 of 6, AND the pick 4.

Are we looking at the same results?
