Dear Group:

Pic 9 is 32+ for tonight.

I think it is a difficult bet with race 5 and 7.

I will attempt to look at the card and maybe and maybe post what I think and throw some money at this.

Not a lot but some.

My wife gave me my allowance today.

I took out the garbage so she gave me $$$$.50.

Maybe I can parlay my allowance into something big.

Here we go.

In Chicago the wind is 30 maybe blowing up to 40MPH.

Look at the Bear game.

I am indecisive on wheather to post this.

I don't know if I am even going to bet this.

I lack confidence on this play.

A difficult card to play the Pic 9, but here I go.

3   1/4

4   3/4

5     2

6   There are SEVEN Horses who could win this race.
What a killer.   Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad
     1, 3,4,6,8,9, 10

7    1,2,3,5

8     6

9     3,4,7

10    4,10

11    5

Looks like I have a $ 67.20 investment for maybe $ 30,000+

The bet hasn't been hit since Sept. 10, and that was super night elims.  5 out of 9 favorites won and three of them were odds on and only one person had it!  My advice is to save your money since there are 490,000,000 different combinations tonight for the pick 9 and the fact that there is an amatuer driver race right in the middle doesn't help either.  Not to mention the wind!

Will they even race tonight? Probably. Hawthorne cancelled most of their card due to the high winds. If they race bet the speed. The stertch horses will turn for home and get that 50mph wind right in their faces.

He's got the right idea, if you're going to play it, though.  Keep the ticket slim, and hope to get things your way.

I'll be waiting for Thursday.

Hawthorne trainers scratch their  horses if the weather forcast has a 40% chance of rain. 2 drops hit the track and half the card is scratched.

Wow....with $8k bet in, an EXCEPTIONALLY hittable combination was missed.  I was very surprised.

12/1
8/5
2/1*
6/5*
2/1
7/2
2/1
2/1*
2/1*

Four favorites, and an average price of 3/1.  Sheesh -- I was sure someone would hit it...

I'm still holding for Thursday.  Anyone wants to partner up?

Best,
EW
