Tons of No Sales and OUTS!!

They cleanup on just the listing fees.....mostly Amish folks looking for a Sunday driver to church and the good racers went to high as well...

Now!! the USTA website reports about 20 harnesses were stolen last nite....

some of the early sales were on the cheap and then they went much too high.

On some sales the gavel went down much too quick.  Makes you wonder.

A trainer attempted to sell a friend of mine's horse "Four Starz Valley" at the sale....she had given the horse away as a pleasure/companion animal due to a fractured coffin bone - she did NOT however sign ownership over to the new home (via USTA transfer papers) so the horse would not be able to race. Low and behold the horse somehow makes it from North Cali to Northfield and ends up in a qualifier....then dumped in the sale. The horse was reported out - I am assuming due to the fact that the USTA was alerted to the fact that the horse was being qualified in the previous owner's name and the trainer DID NOT HAVE PERMISSION to do this. When the trainer was approached, he threatened to sue the owner for TRAINING BILLS!

If anyone knows the location of this horse, please PM me as the previous owner who still legally owns the horse is desperate to find him before he is sold through a non-racing auction....or worse. The authorities are currently involved.
