the guy has invested in so many types of race horses.
I just love it when owners like Mr. Paul doesnt get discouraged by all the takers in this buisness and sees something in a guy like Doug to involved with and on top of it all saw something in this kid from Mexico to give him a shot in the big Dance.
Good things happen to good owners. Very nice.

Seeing Baffert so overwhelmed walking with his son was very moving.

Hearing the story about an elderly lady who just wanted to get her colt back.

Horses sure bring people together.
Yes they bring the best and the unfortuantely the worse. But through all of this the creamof the crop prevails.

For those that have ever thought of screwing owners over even on a vet bill I hope this is a lesson to them the moneys the potentially could have made and the relationships they could have formed but instead they sold good owners out like Mr. P for a chump change and now look at the good that has happened to Mr. P and his connections. Im sure he has many to stories to tell but the man just wants to Have Another. Congradulations you have certainly deserved the good fortune that has happened to you today in the horse world. Looks like he may have a Triple Crown horse. Two more to go and lets all keep our fingers crossed for Ill Have Another. Just love that name.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Mr. Paul essentially a loan shark by trade?

no mortgage one of his buisness got into some sort of acusations of that and I think the interest rates were the issue.

my point here is that some trainers paid great somes of money for horse that no where in a horses pediagree did the horse warrant a 1/4 of a million then getting kick backs from farms for the trainers purchase. Now to me that is blatten extortion.
As i recall a very similar practice was done to the owner of Rachle alexander does the name headly mean anything to you? butthe man stayed in the buisness and invested in other horses just as mr P.when most would have said so long good by adios.
