Back in again this Saturday.  This horse just can't catch a break.  In all of his 5 starts lifetime, none of them have been clean trips.  Still he somehow finds ways to overcome the bad driving decisions and brutal trips that Hiteman gives him.  It won't get any easier Saturday.  He drew the 10 hole.  He will have to come from way back again.  Luckily the field he is facing is terrible, but he still needs to be in range and not 15 lengths back at the 3/4ths poll.

Came up sick.  Unlike the crooked owners of Gibbs, these connections will not race their horse when he is not feeling well.

"WOW GUYS!  & No one believed me when I said before his first race that this was a MONSTER!!"

God, what imbecility.  Who exactly argued that the horse WASN'T a beast? Where were these supposed nonbelievers?

"Wow, I picked a really obvious horse, and he's, um, never paid over even money!!!"

This is the best horse Illinois has seen in a long long time racing regularly at Balmoral.  From what I last heard the plans were to keep him around until here still until after the Hanover Stakes.  He was supposed to race last week, be off this week, race next week and then Hanover Night, then off to the East.  Getting sick messed up those plans a bit.  Instead he will either skip next week and race Hanover Night or race next week and Hanover Night.  Either way after that race on July 14th he is supposed to go East the last I heard a few weeks ago.

I hope this race finally silenced the doubters and the haters and now hopefully everyone realizes that this is indeed a monster like I said from the get-go.

You have not been able to identify a single person here who quote-unquote *doubted*  the ability of this amazingly MOTO horse.

Master of the obvious.  A horse comes home in 54/26 in his first start, and you're claiming credit for reaching the conclusion that the horse is good?  Wow... amazing foresight there.

Mr. Horse, the way that they have brought up bigshot slowly through the ranks, taught him how to race, and managed him, should go down in the textbooks as the absolutely most proper way to go about it!

Mr. Horse, I remember very clearly many posts saying that Gibbs needs to be shipped out east a month or two ago.  When I read that I thought that was very silly and people were very much overrating that horse so I spoke up about it.  I told them that to ship east and compete, you need a monster and I showed the the definition of what a monster is by comparing gibbs with bigshot.  That is why the comparison was made.

Mr. Horse, I am involved at the sales helping many friends.  I do not buy any horses myself, but I help to make some judgements on horses and often tilt the see-saw one way or the other on borderline tough to decide decisions on purchases and bidding.

You keep creating absurd straw men.  Horses routinely race "up the ladder" through the NW/races ranks in Chicago and elsewhere; there is nothing unusual about it.

The point about shipping Gibbs east is that the Chitown purses are terrible.  If you think the east coast tracks are awash in monsters, obviously you have not looked at a Meadowlands Saturday night program this year.

As for the nonsense about helping this and that one with advice about horse purchases, I would sooner believe that you had a hand in the development of the polio vaccine (Salk or Sabin, take your pick).    head shake
