Real exclusive. I'm watching TVG right now and all I see is Prarie Meadows, Los Al and Hoosier. Nice job Hawthorne. You made your deal with the devil and look where it got ya.

Did the TVG deal include the harness meet? It's Suburban Downs, a separate entity from the thoroughbreds.

It has a deal with Cal Expo as well and only shows a few races a night. They TVG sponsered a race a few weeks ago and never showed the race.

Have we gained anything from Hawthorne
Lost the internet viewing of races
Same purses-excluding a few select days
Same short fields
Poor website
Is it me or am I correct

I personally enjoy the racing at Hawthorne more -- however, the website is DEFINITELY not up to snuff at all.  Reminds me of a website out of the late 90s.

Every racetrack should study the Big M's website.  It's darn near perfect.

Best,
EW

Hawthorne isn't Meadowlands. Doesn't have Big M budget and isn't subsidized by the state and casinos like Big M.

I heard Hawthorne had the ISP do this website based on a template. It's not a bad job even if not "best of class".

Just my opinion and, as always, open to debate.

as a better from n.j. i have to say i like the racing better at hawthorne than at bal or may! dont know why but i seem to do better at hawthorne! it just sems that you dont have to be afraid of betting a longshot if you like one! they seem to win w/ regularity! on the flipside if a horse looks like he should run off the screen and win, he usually will! also......no one barn seems to dominate! looks like the wealth is spread! dunno!!??

TVG has never been a fan of harness racing.  It seems like they only show the races for early week fillers.  HRTV I feel truley promotes harness racing.  I hardly ever turn on TVG any more.

TVG has sucked for quite a while now, I have called them and emailed them to make sure they know they suck. I usually dont get any arguements from them as they know they suck.

I have emailed several times also and they say that the schedules are predetermined and there is nothing they can do.
