Zimmerman  call 911 said he was following the kid.   why because he was black.  was told to stop following the kid and he did not.  witness  said  that she heard them argument and that his voice was definitely the more aggressive and louder of the people arguing.  he is much bigger than the kid.  witness said she saw them saw on the ground.  the larger man on top when the shots rang out.  stalking and killing  murder.   I am not black.  My family owned a liquor store and I have personally been rob at gun point by a black man.   I try to stay neutral on this.  but being an engineer logic wins out.  this case is not even close to being self defense and Zimmerman's story is full of holes and inconsistencies.  His initial lawyer team quit because his family won't shut up and blew holes all over their planned defense.

I'm not defending Zim but there were 6 or 7 previous break-ins by young black males in that neighborhood and Zimm stopped one in progress and the perps were arrested. If you lived in that neighborhood, black or white, and some guy was preventing break-ins then you would probably like this guy. This guy was a mentor to young black youths as well. The whole racist thing doesn't fly, however did he profile Martin because he was black ? Absolutely but 6 break-ins in a row is kind of tough to argue. That said, he should have just called the cops and not carried a gun.

I know guys like this, want to be cops or fireman who can't make it in that field. Overzealous is how i would describe Zimmerman but murderer ? I will let the forensics and witnesses decide that. We had a similar situation in the town next to me with black youths breaking in to houses till a group finally got popped, scary stuff, a friend had her house broke in and they stole her rifle. They were pawning all the stuff for drug money. This is not a black and white story, a lot of grey area...
