I said I was gonna stop betting harness racing, and I did.  Save for meeting Wings and his son with my family at Tioga,  I went back to the t-breds weeks ago. I watched a few big races at Mohawk last night without betting a nickel. Cancelled my Trackmaster subscription months ago.

I still have friends in the harness game, and I follow their horses.  Watch a stake here and there, and keep tabs on the Pena situation.  Apart from that, it's all t-breds.

Yeah, but he didn't say, "I'm flouncing because this board sucks"... he said he lost interest in the game.  That's not only a horse of a different color, it's an entirely understandable sentiment. Most of my old racetrack friends (and this goes far back) have long since lost interest in any sort of horse racing and wandered off to other things.

Sometimes good posters leave and no one knows why... on the t-bred side, there's a whole thread in which people speculate why someone who called himself Moon split.  The ones who bother me are the ones who flounce and DON'T delete their account. 

No less to the point, he's a genuinely good guy...  I believe you had a Facebook correspondence going with him?  He was quite shaken by the death of his racetrack friend, and he ended up feeling uninterested at the track. This is not a cause to attack the guy.

I was glad he won at Chester we had fun. It was fun.

When he races again. Ill have fun.
If he had gone to Lexington or the BC Id have gone.

But he will be right here in MD.
And this isn't really about the horse at all.
