I am hoping for Rosecroft too.

But he may be racing for more money by then.
The family though is always huge supporters of Maryland standardbred racing so who knows.

Exciting times though.

I wouldn't say hes been overhyped at all. He is a very nice horse that broke a world record last year as a 2 year old. You don't need to look at his lines from last year even to see he has quality, his qualifiers told anybody thats been around in this business, hes a very nice horse. Back halfs in 56 with last 1/4's in 27 obviously under wraps for a 3 year old on a 5/8 track spells quality.

One start making a break in a 3 year old debut does not give you a true read on this horse. See how he does over his next couple of starts and then judge. My bet is you may change your mind in underestimating his ability.

Horse was once again ultra impressive and what a visually impressive horse. Big, powerful with a great gait. Skies the limit for this guy. By the way I wonder if he is gonna get a fullpage milk carton ad now ?

Who in the world bet this thing down to 3/5 today ? Little different company today then the rats he's been facing at OD .

Plus he had no hands Callahan driving today talk about a driver that hasn't improved one bit over the last 3 years .

Got a kick out of re reading this.

If I owned half he would have been sold last fall.

I enjoy the sport and good stories about the sport.

Unlike many of you mindless drones who only follow it and bet. So you can lose and then cry about it after and be miserable about it all.

If I hated something I simply wouldn't follow it. That's why I don't even know who won the Derby nor care.
But I'm not on a a derby site crying about how bad it sucks.
But there seems like groups of you people who are just little cry babies. I usually totally ignore you and your group but when you make a thread about something I care about I am forced to respond.
Carry on.

He is in the Dancer.

Hopefully he will face the Hambo winner after the hambo at some point.
Probably will face the eventual winner in the Dancer.

Not so much about the sport though. Or at least the horses and tracks I care about.

I just like to have fun.

The horse is a star. Hopefully will race past 3 too. Since he wasn't some huge dollar purchase.

In October at Rosecroft if hes in the Sire stakes you are all invited out.
Ill buy the  beer beer

I wish he was in the hambo so could get tested and see how fast he can go if hes pressed.

My hats off to you Cano, glad to see you have changed your opinion after watching him his last 2 starts. Enjoy watching him the rest of his career and leave the milk carton ads to missing people, lol.

If anyone doubted this horses ability, just have a look at his race tonight at Pocono. Only word to describe this horse is WOW !! One of the most impressive races for a trotter I have ever witnessed in all my years.

6  4/1H  1/1Q  1/1H  1/4  1/7 1:51.3   Under wraps

27.0  56.0  1:23.3  1:51.3

Is this horse now the savior to the North American trotter that has become so inbreed, or will all his pacing blood only screw up the trotting breed for generations to come?
Will he strengthen the trotting gene pool or seriously dilute and harm it?
If you had a top trotting brood mare would you breed to him?
Would/will you buy his yearlings?
I can't think of any successful trotting sire with anywhere near his am out of pacing blood.

I am just an old "Hoss" trainer, that has been raced hard and put away wet.
As my Friend from Maine(Ora Stratton) says "There are horse trainers, and then there are real "Hoss" trainers.

Interesting 3yo crop. We have a Yankee Cruiser & E Dees Cam  as 2 freakishly fast 3yo colts & a Cams Rocket sired 3yo trotting world record breaker
