How about spending less?

And how come you didn't say a word about this when the fascists (Bush) were in the White House running up debts like drunken sailors?

How about converting autos and trucks to natural gas?

Good idea, but your own party ridicules any idea but the status quo of big oil. They even try to cut funding that would develop the technology to get us off oil.

How about spending less?  How about converting autos and trucks to natural gas?  How about getting the socialists out of the white house?

Under $2 now, down from $16.  And we have an over-abundance & have more of it than we could ever possibly use.  Allot cleaner than oil too.  But not clean enough for these environmentalists who won't get behind anything that isn't crystal clean.  Boone Pickens was sure that this President would go in that direction.  A bad bet!

Why?  I haven't a clue.  dunno dunno dunno

We can produce more wealth, but we cannot produce more time.  When we give someone our time, we actually give a portion of our life that we will never get back.

let me guess that all this green energy is making a dent
somewhere as billions of dollars have been pumped into
Solar energy.  What about the liter of windmills place all
over farm fields in Illinois and Indiana.  Maybe it is I don't
have numbers to support or deny what type of impact.
Your right on the ethanol it was put into place when
America was all up in arms when gasoline prices soared
so the government came up with that pile of crap idea
to ease public fear.  Here's the deal forget everything
discussed the biggest problem that faces this country
is the debt.  When foreign countries stop buying U.S.
debt we will be in deep shit.  Markets will free fall, mass
amount of world money will be lost again, and the next
recession will be the one that humbles everyone and last
for many years.   Everyone is at fault politicians and consumers
for spending above there means.

'Fan...biggest single problem with the natural gas thing is not anything but a lack of infrastructure to sell it. If they could magically have a zillion "natural gas stations" suddenly, you can bet there would be and the good ole' US of A would be much better for it. Hell, I saw a story that off the Carolina's a ways is the single largest deposit of natural gas anywahere, they just cant (or wont) get to it. That's the simple type of answer that would eb better for everyone, but alas, it wont happen because those (bleeps) wont pay for the structure to make it easy for people. When the ethanol craze started, had they sold it for what it likely cost to make it, it owuld have relieved a TON of pressure if only in the midwest, but NO, how dare anyone ask big business to only make billions when they could have made 10's of billions....its all propped up BS. No matter what the letter behind the name is.

Terry I don't know you but like reading what you usually have
to say.  We can go back and forth blaming the who's who of
political parties.  Yes you blame R party for a whole of bunch
of past mistakes.  The D party when Clinton was in office got
the ball rolling when told every American needs a home, Fannie
and Freddie got to work in a hurry.  Flash to Obama had a ton
of issues once elected into office instead of fixing the housing crisis
and high unemployment the first couple years he tackled health
care.  With the House *** at the time these people were able
to shove this plan Thur Congress while most of them had no idea
what was included in the 4,000 plus page plan.  One thing
included that kicks in, sell you house going forward 1% of sale
goes to health care.  So with that said we can place blame all
over the place but I haven't heard you say anything about a
long term fix.  I HAVEN'T A CLUE OTHER THAN CUT SPENDING.
Everyone is to blame when things are good we spend but at
the rapid pace the debt grows and the pace or economy slows
we need answers.   In all fairness Terry being serious what direction
can politicians go to improve past mistakes and get this country
growing again while bringing down the deficit?
