Other than checking every individual simulcast schedule at every location,, is there a way to find out where a particular harness track might be simulcast in the area I am traveling to ?? For example~ Yonkers. If Im going to be in California, will Yonkers know who is picking up their signal at what locations ? Please help. How can I find out. Thanks

Sometimes you can check web sites of the track you'll be at and they will have a list of the tracks they are showing that day, now if you are so lucky that you may be comming to Lebanon Raceway here in Ohio if you check their site all tracks for each month is listed... only problem they still have 2011 schedule still up on the site.

California was really goofy with harness simulcasts. When I was at Cal Expo a few years ago, I could play some races from Maywood, but not the whole card.

Still the same way. Only offer 4-5 races of other tracks.

Cal Expo pools are much bigger than any of the PA tracks. Handled 900K last sat. And there pick 4 Guarantee just went up again

California has always limited the amount of simulcasts that were brought into the state of either breed.

California limits the number of races that is simulcast at their tracks. They will only have harness races when cal expo is running because the races is through cal expo. they tend to broadcast meadowlands and the chicago tracks only . they did a few races from indiana and northfield when meadowlands was closed.

Not sure the whys in Arizona. But Im sure when Beave Van Pelt reads this he would have the insight.
I don know a few years back their was a huge hit made on the Nevada sports book from our one Harness Track and many of their sports books would know longer take a bet on harness tracks. The same thing happened a few years back with another Tbred track out here which was the Hansen stir. But I dont know if this is why Arizona may protect their otbs and what tracks bets they take. these are the unfortunate black eyes of the sport that have cost many not to take the handle. I hope this is not Arizona reasoning. But if they are run by many of the Nevada investors it just might be. Like one poster stated many of the simulcast dont want to share the handle when picking up a tracks signal.
