No familiar names to me in the top 20.

John Frank's favorite buddy Dave Gutfreund is in 28th for the best of the local names I recognize. Chitown Steve in 41st but within easy striking distance of the top. Bill Downes Jr. from Beulah, 69th. Some familiar Hawthorne names kind of far back.

One of my best friends, Bill Holmes, is in 199th place. My guess is that he will make a big run. I assumed that Bill Downes and "The Maven" would be in the contest.

True, Steve IS a good handicapper.  I hope he makes it all the way to the top.  It would prove to me that God doesn't really care who wins. Hardly ever does one win two years in a row.  I don't follow it closely, but I only know of that happening recently, once.  One time.  I imagine winning 3 years in a row is impossible.

They ought to return to Tampa and fix the mistake they made.

I thought He already proved that when the Denver Broncos faced the Patriots.

Care to expound on that?

Fellow ThoroGraph user Michael Beychok hits the last race at Golden Gate with his last optional play...and ekes out the win by a margin of $1.00...

Incredible finish, got up in the last stride. What would make this MORE of a fairytale score is if Michael took some of that money and claimed the filly who got him the cash in the finale at GG and retire her to his backyard, family pet style.
