no one destroyed these lives. they created this mess, finally noticed. ever walk around the grandstand to see how these guys hit the windows? or come out of the side door to hand money off to a person to go to the window? hmmm, how come the tickets haven't been cashed. would the average person be afraid to cash a ticket that the payoff wasn't right? just look at that race. and again i refer you to the amateur race; ok then, jason maier driving 50-1 (not from maier barn) horse in amateur race, stings even money favorite to the half. amateur clevenger pulls down the backside to draw away and win. oh by the way horse driven by clevenger owned by maier barn. next day amateur race, true believer owned by denise maier until name change to jason, so jason can drive in amateur race. too bad, money run over at the wire. you're right, no games going on.
The tickets haven't been cashed because they froze the payoffs. Best, EW

What more can be expected from the most reputable racing in the America's(not). Chances are Hillary will be elected before we hear of a ruling. All horses that were owned and or trained by these guys have changed names. 5% a small price to pay while all waits. Feeling is longer is better for these guys. All will probably be forgiven a slap on the wrist and "drive on". Who knows a real investigation might really be FIXPO's demise. unearthing much more.

Mano you need to get your facts straight before you blab on and on..Ratchford horses never changed names and are still in the same barn.Jean just passed her trainers test and will be the trainer of record..Maier horses still trained by Denise and most of Burts horses were owned by Seigel..all 4 boys have hired attorneys...investigation heating up..dont forget the horses were never in question and not barred from racing

kaucha you are 1 homer. 1st of all the ratchford horses went to the name of jason irwin. until wife passes test. all jason and danny owned horses changed to new owners. and by the way most of burts horses are in girlfriends name. i do have facts. maybe it's you who's blind to the truth. they won't need too good of a lawyer to beat CALFIXPO.

This thread is getting a lot of lookers! I remember seeing this on the USTA website. What is taking sooo long? One would have to think that if there is a case to be made...sh*it or get off the pot. Come on Kaucha, reads to me that you have an inside and you're holding out! lol How many of you posting actually live in California? Too bad you have had and always will have a bad racing rep. I'm sure most of you are there for the weather anyways, right?!lol

People complain that the tracks do nothing about fixes in the sport...and, when they do -- then it's a witch hunt. I applaud CalX for noticing questionable betting patterns, and taking action so quickly. At the same point, I think they should work to keep the public much more informed than they are -- that's where the breakdown is happening, IMO. Best, EW
