1971 brought sticky fingers which was my favorite but in 1972 The classic double lp Exile on Main Street took the top spot for me.  steel wheels was 1989 that would make the stones 125 now. lol

I've got 'em all, sometimes 2-3x in different releases/remixes or new copies, going back to the ones I bought when I was a kid, and quite a raft of bootlegs, too, but the Stones albums I still listen to the most are "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out", "Exile on Main Street", "It's Only Rock n' Roll", "Between the Buttons", "Some Girls", "Out of Our Heads", and "England's Newest Hitmakers", in approximately that order of frequency.

one thing is apparent after reading this thread. Keith Richards has more soul and talent than any guitarist in the history of rock n roll clapton, page included. honarable mention for jumpin jack flash, brown sugar, midnite rambler, symphony for the devil and when you get your fill of stones take a listen to all along the watchtower or maybe a little Carlos Santana's black magic woman. Dylan wrote and recorded all along the watchtower but who was the first to record and release Black magic woman?
thumbs up- oh yeah--- by the way-- my all time fav is give me shelter,, lisa was G R E A T

Fleetwood Mac?
very good. peter green who is also a legendary blues guitarist wrote it and fleetwood mac released it as a 45 1n 1968. Santana covered it in 1970. lifetime free admission passes to freehold await you at the front entrance.
